Ormai per quasi tutti gli artisti che hanno partecipato all’ultima edizione del Festival di Sanremo è tempo di secondo singolo; e così anche il “Re Mida“ Lorenzo Fragola, dopo aver debuttato settimana scorsa al primo posto della classifica degli album più venduti della settimana con il suo 1° disco, 1995, (qui trovate la classifica) arriva in radio con nuovo singolo.
La scelta è è stata quella di puntare nuovamente, come per il singolo d’esordio The Reason why, su un brano in inglese: The Rest.
The Rest porta la firmata di un astro nascente del cantautorato inglese, Tom Odell, artista scoperto da Lily Allen e che, nel 2013, ha debuttato anch’esso con il suo primo album Long way down con cui è finito al primo posto nella classifica di vendita del regno unito.
In attesa di sapere quando inizierà il primo tour del cantautore uscito vittorioso dall’ultima edizione di X-Factor, Lorenzo dopo il malore che lo ha colto per il troppo stress nelle scorse settimane, incontrerà i suoi fan in altre due date il 18 aprile a Napoli e il 19 a Bari. Di seguito il testo di The Rest, una classica canzone d’amore in cui Lorenzo ringrazia la vita che le ha “donato lei” che è stata capace di portare tutto quello che mancava, il resto, nella sua esistenza.
